ARKAYTO [ar\kɑj\to]: THRONE (in Afar) April 2020. The dynamics of the world shifted in an unexpected manner, making new ideas surge in people’s mind, especially in the creative industry. Revolutions and innovations stemmed from this — it was time for a change, a change that must inevitably include Africa in it. This was the beginning of a new era, and for me, the creation of a vision that combines Djibouti’s cultural heritage with a modern twist, to create a unique streetwear clothing line.
